It's OK
I have used Alterna shampoos and conditioners in the past and really loved them. I really wanted to love this shampoo as I don't wash my hair everyday, and need a deep cleanse by the end of the week. Love the packaging! This shampoo smells great and I really like the exfoliating beads. Like the other review, it's tough to pump out an ample amount. The shampoo doesn't lather which is fine, but because of that it's hard to feel like you're getting a deep clean. It rinses out cleanly but after a week of not washing it still feels like my hair could use a second rinse and repeat.

Don’t Bother Buying This
This shampoo is difficult to pump out of the container, and it has grains in it. I like Alterna products, but this is not a winner.

Hair feels so clean!
I was skeptical when I saw that this was an exfoliate for my hair BUT I'm a believer. My hair feels so so clean after I use this. It doesn't leave it feeling dry or coarse either. And the smell is wonderful!

nice clarifying shampoo
I received this as sample and overall it was a nice product. It did a nice job cleansing my scalp. My hair is overall healthy, a little dry and wavy. It did not try out my hair. I did, however, also receive a different scalp cleanser that I was really impressed by, so I would not end up buying this one.

tried a sample-good stuff!
I tried a sample from Dermstore of this and my hair looked and felt refreshed and revived. The little scrubby beads are not too harsh-which I wondered about. The scent was clean and not overpowering. Also, this didn't dry my hair out, like some clarifying products tend to do.

The best clarifying shampoo
This stuff is good! It has little scrubby beads that really clean the scalp. My hair feels so clean and shiny afterwards. The pump doesn't work well on the bottle but the product itself is worthwhile.

Good product
I received a trial size of this product from another Dermstore purchase and bought the full size after trying it out. All Alterna hair products are great and this one is no exception. It makes my hair feel clean and adds volume after wash. I use it as a regular shampoo and do not use another shampoo after this one. Giving it a 4-star because the pump on the bottle does not work so well, I have to pull it up after pushing it down to get more of the product, not sure if it's just that I received a bad bottle.

Great Shampoo
I don't use a lot of product, but I loved this shampoo. Smells great. Leaves my short hair with great body without conditioner and air dry. I notice when a new shampoo stands out and this one is a keeper. I received as a sample but will order a full-size bottle.

Good Exfoliate For Hair
If you use hair serum, cream, hairspray, dry shampoo, this is a necessary step to remove all buildups before shampoo steps. My hair feels lighter and more clean after use.
