Glycoleol restores hydration with a nourishing blend of essential fatty acids while Avène thermal spring water soothes redness and boosts suppleness.

Soothing & Hydrating moisturizer
Unfortunately, in my lovely 40s, I started to have cystic/nodular acne. The acne medications and treatments have been harsh on my skin & caused it to get excessively dry, itchy, & red. This moisturizer has done an amazing job at reducing all of the negative side effects from the treatments. It is by far the best moisturizer I've used that has helped to soothe, calm, and hydrate my skin. My make up applies so much better now! I also love the soft scent of this product.

Not my favorite moisturizer
I have mild acne and sensitive skin so I decided to try this out. I was unpleasantly surprised when I realized that this moisturizer is scented. Usually fragrance irritates my skin. While this was not irritating, I was not impressed by the formula. I switched to another moisturizer from Avene that can be used for both face and body and found that it did a better job and was much cheaper than this

Favorite moisturizer
I have sensitive skin along with some hormonal acne and my skin looooves this moisturizer. It is a thicker texture but it goes on so nicely and hasn't cause breakouts or reactions.

Best moisturizer out there - hands down
After struggling for years to find a moisturizer that really works - especially during the winter when I spend a lot of time outside in the snow - I have FINALLY found it. My dermatologist originally recommended this and I will now forever use this product. It is lightweight and silky smooth. It's a small bottle but it goes a long way!

Soothing, but moisture doesn't last all day
I bought this moisturizer after a series of breakouts + harsh acne products. It definitely hydrates but I do find I have to reapply once in the middle of the day. I don't mind the fragrance (it's very light and powdery) but I do wonder why they thought this product needed a scent when it's intended for acne-prone, reactive skin.

I've tried other Avene products and loved them, so I thought I'd give this a try as my day moisturizer. I'm pleased! I'm 45 with horribly reactive skin and cystic acne, and this doesn't flare up a thing. It's thin enough to go over my daytime serum (Skinceuticals Blemish), which is on the harsher side (but necessary), but moisturizing enough to assist hydration and not make makeup application a tugging game. I wish it had sunscreen for one stop shopping, but can achieve that with an SPF foundation just fine. All in all, liking this one, does the job well with cleaner ingredients than many brands.

Good for sensitive dry skin
I bought this product for use on dry irritated skin around my nose. I put it on my whole face and it is very good. No irritation no matter where I put it on my face and I got results very quickly. My skin is very sensitive so this worked well for me.
