Q I am 53 and have oily skin all over my face. I am concerned about wrinkles and lines. I seems like I have to choose between the products. Is there products that take of both problems ?I know Retinal is very good for aging skin.Is retinal in any products for oily skin? I am dry under my eyes. Any good anti-aging eye creams?
A

There are definitely products that will take care of both of your concerns. Oily skin is often mistreated, it's a common misconception that oily skin should be treated with harsh, over-exfoliating products to try and dry the skin out. Treating the skin this way will actually make it even more oily. Your best option is to use a well-balanced regimen of products to normalize the skins oil production as well as hydrate the skin. Retinol, and any vitamin A derivative, are great anti-aging ingredients. These ingredients are also helpful with oily skin. I would recommend you incorporate a vitamin A product at night into a simple at home regimen. Consider the following regime for your skin: Cleanse daily with La Roche-Posay Effaclar Deep Cleansing Foaming Cream followed with La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Hydrating Toner. During the day I suggest using a moisturizer that will help combat excessive oil such as La Roche-Posay Effaclar Active Matt Hydrating Emulsion. To treat the eye area consider La Roche-Posay Redermic Eyes. At night you would use this same regimen, but replace your daily moisturizer with your retinol and then a heavier moisturizer like La Roche-Posay Redermic Daily Fill-in Anti-Wrinkle Firming Care Normal Combination.
