Fingers Prune Quicky in Water Due to Lack of Sebum

Question: Hi for last few days my fingers prune very quickly...almost instantly after touching water? i use hand lotion all the time...especially in this being winter in the northeast...furnance going dry heat...

It’s likely your skin is not producing enough sebum, thus causing the pruning or wrinkling. This is what happens when one stays in water for too long. Our skin’s natural oil/sebum breaks down and our skin soaks up the water. I suggest exfoliating regularly to encourage cell production. Consider using Glytone Ultra Heel and Elbow Cream.Best skin care wishes.Meagan, Esthetician
