Q I've read that when using glycolic acid products, you should not wax. I've just started using Joey New York Pure Pores Toner/Moisturizer and Joey New York Cleansing Gel with Vitamin C. Both products contain glycolic acid. Are these the types of products that you should not be using if you wax your eyebrows -- or does that caution apply only when you're using glycolic acid in higher concentrations like a glycolic peel?
A

That is generally recommended, however I feel it depends on your skins sensitivity level and how thin it is. If you are flaky and sensitive from the glycolic acid, then no you should not wax. I have numerous clients though that wax and are using glycolic and are fine. And yes you are correct if you just had a peel or use a really high concentration of glycolic then you should stop using it for a couple days and then wax. Best skin care wishes.
