Q Hi, I am an esthetician that is pregnant and would like to know if I can handle a high frequency machine on my clients skin?.... And are my pregnant clients aloud to use high frequency on their skin? Thanks so much for the help!
A

With most machines there is a barrier between the person, esthetician, and the actual electrode to the machine therefore it is considered safe to use. However estheticians who are pregnant will still avoid high frequency for safety reasons. Pregnant clients, those getting a treatment, should definitely avoid high frequency as it is not safe to use on pregnant women. Best skin care wishes.
