Hyperpigmentation

Q I would like to ask you a question--something I've been struggling with for a few years now. I have hyperpigmentation on my upper lip (if I don't wear makeup, it looks like I have a faded mustache). I use the healthiest, non-chemical makeup I can find, which helps, but it still kind of shows from underneath my makeup. I'm wondering what the underlying cause is for my hyperpigmentation and if you have suggestions to get rid of it. Maybe it's a lack of some kind of mineral or vitamin in my diet. I know hyperpigmentation can be caused by the sun and it can also be hormonal. I wear SPF every day (I didn’t use to a long time ago though). I am wondering if you have any ideas or solutions I can try. Any advice would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, Janell.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I would recommend the brand Paula`s choice their RESIST Triple-Action Dark Spot Eraser 7 Percent AHA Lotion . This product is designed to help with your skins concerns. I hope this helps, have a nice day! Cyndee, Dermstore Esthetician
