Q I am 34 years old and sometimes I look like I have a face of a 15 year old. The right side of my face, for some reason, gets really bad ingrown hairs. It is almost as if the hairs grow side ways and I have to use a needle and tweezers to get it out. Almost every time after I shave I will get 4 to 5 and by the time I pick and tweeze and get them out my face looks horrible. Please help! I have heard before that pulling hair out by tweezers sometimes causes the hair to grow back at a side angle. I don't know? I have no clue why I continue to only get ingrown hairs on the right side of my face. Once again I need help. Thanks again for you time.

Each and every one of our hair follicles are different. Different size and different shape, therefore each hair grows out differently. The hair follicles in the area you are concerned about are most likely oddly shaped which is what is causing them to grow differently and causing the ingrown hairs. I recommend you try Bliss Ingrown Hair Eliminating Peeling Pads and Follique Original Formula. Please contact me if you have any further questions. Best skin care wishes. Meagan, Esthetician
