Q Hello, I recently had my chin waxed and now I have had milia that keeps coming back even after having it extracted and I have been exfoliating chemically with salicylic products and mechanically and also using a benzoyl peroxide cream. I never had an issue before the wax, what do you think I should do?
A

Thank you for contacting us. I recommend that you consult the dermatologist that did the milia removal for you the first time. Spot treating the milia with products that contain Salicylic Acid will help exfoliate the skin and reduce the chance of milia, however that process requires some time and patience. A product I would recommend giving a try is the SkinMedica AHA-BHA Cream . Also keep in mind by keeping the skin properly cleansed and exfoliated prior to waxing, should reduce the chance of milia coming back due to clean pores. Best, DermStore
