Hi, I have one HUGE pore on my face where there was a blackhead that had been there since I was 12 or something my mother said. It came out when I was about 18 and ever since then....7 years later, I still have this huge pore. My dermatologist said I would have to have it cut out and sewn up. Right now I don't have insurance and am planning on getting married in the next year. I'd really like it to be gone! Is there anything I could personally do to get rid of it or would I have to have that procedure done? Would rubbing on the pore make it bigger or help it?

<p>To be honest, your best option is to see the dermatologist. You could try topical products, but I don't think they will make a noticeable difference in the size of the pore. I would try not to rub he area, this could cause microscopic tears in the skin, making the pore larger after awhile.
