Q I am currently breastfeeding my two month old and plan on doing so for another 10 months. In the meantime my perioral dermatitis has gotten out of hand and I am unsure what prescription antibiotics or other treatments are safe while I am breastfeeding. I would sure appreciate the help as my face looks horrible at this point and time! Thanks again!
A

You'll have to speak with your physician to see what prescriptions will work for you while breast feeding. Azelaic acid is a non-prescription ingredient that will help to treat perioral dermatitis, and is safe for breast feeding mothers. Please contact me with further questions.
