Hello! I recently got a dermaplaning facial at a medspa, and my esthetician pointed out that I have very rough, uneven skin. My face also feels very dry a lot of the time, but I still seem to get shiny by the end of the day, so I think it is dehydrated. She recommended Skinceuticals Retexturing Activator (for daily use), Skinceuticals Glycolic 10 Renew (for weekly use) and a physical exfoliator once per week. The Skinceutical products are expensive, so I was hoping for a second opinion before I break the bank, as well as any suggestions for what else I could add to my routine. Cleansers, moisturizers? I was looking at the Glytone cleanser, but wasn't sure if that would be overkill with the glycolic acid. I am trying to avoid retinol and salicylic, since we are about to start trying for a baby. Any help would be appreciated!
