- Q Hello, I have been using Retin-A micro for a little over 4 days. Yes, not long at all. I am 16 years old and I have been diagnosed with eczema as well. Now I am really not sure how to tell the difference between my eczema and acne (black heads, and white heads). Well, while using Retin-A micro .04% I have noticed red itchy bumps appear on my face where I apply it. I went onto the web site and it says the first symptoms are red, itchy, dry skin. I am just not sure whether or not this is normal for me to get red itchy "bumps". Please help me. I hate suffering with acne and eczema.

This type of reaction is fairly normal, however I would suggest you speak with your physician before continuing use of the product. Best skin care wishes.
