Q Hello, I’d like to change my skincare routine. This year I’ve tried to incorporate more natural products into my routine with no success. I have always thought I have combination skin that tends to get clogged pores and blackheads in my t-zone. I’m 24 and never had issues with acne until I was 19. When I was 19 I went on a acne-centered routine directed by my doctor, which I did for about a year, and my acne pretty much cleared up until about three months ago, right when I started incorporating more natural products (I also got off birth control at the end of last year, not sure if that has anything to do with it). My acne has definitely subsided in the last month, however I’m still getting underneath pimples and blackheads that are turning into red pimples. I also have bumps on the side of my cheeks near my sideburns that get itchy sometimes (not sure if this is a reaction to something). My current skincare products are: Philosophy purity cleanser, witch hazel and rose toner, Ursa Major face balm, and Eminence calm skin chamomile moisturizer (I alternate between the two). I also use Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta daily peel twice a week. What do you recommend for my skin type? I’d like to stick to more natural products if possible. Sorry for the long post! Thanks.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I would recommend the brand Eminence, their Clear Skin Starter Set would be a nice way for you to get introduced to the brand and from there purchase in the larger sizes. I would still continue with your toner, and your peel pads. I would add to this kit their Red Currant Exfoliating Cleanser to use periodically . All of these products are designed to help with your skin care concerns.I hhope this helps, have a nice day! Cyndee, Dermstore Esthetician
