- Question: I recently switched from MD Forte Sunscreen(SPF 30) to LAroche Posay's ANthelios XL(SPF 60) CREME FONDANTE because I read that MExoryl provides better protection from UVA rays than Zinc Oxide. I did not want Avobenzone based cream becuase it Avobenzone is not stable and breaks down easily. However my face is breaking out with Anthelios. I would like to avoid aging and sun damage with the most effective product without getting acne. I have sensitive skin which swtiches between dryness and oiliness. Is there a Mexoryl based sunscreen which is ideal for very sesntitive skin and protects against UVA and UVB rays.Or will MD Forte do the job as well as Anthelios?

Answer:
There are far fewer sunscreens that contain Mexoryl then those that contain the normal sunscreen properties. As far as I know the La Roche Posay product you tried and a L’Oreal product are some of the few that contain this ingredient. Sorry I could not be more helpful. Best skin care wishes.
