Q I've been using hair cream bleach on my hands for a little while and have noticed a bit of skin damage and small white spots on my upper fingers. It looks like a loss of pigment. The white spots are pretty much unnoticeable except under certain lighting conditions (fluorescent room lights). What do you think the white spots are?
A

It's very likely these white bumps are in fact damage due to the bleaching cream. These types of bleaching creams contain hydrogen peroxide which can irritate and damage the skin if used consistently and over an extended period of time. I would recommend discontinuing use of the product and considering a better alternative such as waxing. Please contact me with further questions.
