Skin-Brightening Carrot Juice - DermStore

What You’ll Need:

4 large carrots

2 grapefruits, peeled

1 navel orange, peeled

½ lemon

4 strawberries

1-inch piece of fresh turmeric

Simply juice the following ingredients together and sip your way to healthier and happier skin.

Why This Juice is Good for You

CARROTS – Extremely high in vitamin A, vitamin C, carotenoids, antioxidants, potassium and antibacterial compounds. These nutrients reduce inflammation and redness, hydrate the skin, even out skin tone, reduce scarring and prevent wrinkles.

CITRUS – Grapefruits, oranges and lemons are packed with vitamin C, which is necessary for the production of collagen. Collagen gives skin elasticity and keeps it looking supple and youthful. Vitamin C also helps calm redness from breakouts or irritation.

STRAWBERRIES – These are rich in the antioxidant ellagic acid, which helps prevent the breakdown of collagen—one of the main reasons wrinkles form.

TURMERIC – This root contains many antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, thanks to curcumin, the source of its dark-yellow/orangey color. This powerful antioxidant concentration helps slow the skin’s aging process by combating free radicals and helping to heal and prevent dry skin. Turmeric has also been known to help with acne, thanks to antibacterial compounds.
