Smells lovely
4I love this smell, especially in the summertime. I don’t know how great the benefits are of this shampoo, but when you use this with the conditioner, it leaves your hair moisturized and smelling so good.

Smells great
4I personally love the smell, it’s kind of heavy at first, but very light once your hair is dry. I like this as more of a clarifying shampoo and believe it’s wonderful for summer time due to the smell.

5I think this shampoo and conditioner is great, the smell is amazing. The consistency is great, the shampoo doesn't take much and it suds up. I have a lot of very thin hair and I would definitely buy this shampoo and conditioner again.

So disappointing
2I ordered this & the conditioner in the full sizes without sampling them first when the appeal of banana-scented & moisturized hair won out. Unfortunately, the shampoo smells very similar to a cherry cough syrup & drying to my hair. So disappointed since I generally like this brand a lot.

Wonderful shampoo
5The smell of this shampoo makes you think you are in Hawaii! And it is very thick, very moisturizing, too. The conditioner is great, as well!

Love The Shampoo, But Not The Price
5I have just finished writing my review for the conditioner that pairs with this shampoo, and as I said in that review, I personally feel like the price is a bit high for 12.5 fl. oz of product when you can go to the store and buy a shampoo for a couple of bucks, or purchase a salon quality shampoo for a bit more but also get much more fl. oz of product. Despite the price, I do love this shampoo. This paired with the conditioner has become my go to. It is everything that my hair needs and wants! For reference, my hair is naturally wavy with some curls, frizzy, can be a puffball especially when rain hits it or humidity, medium to thick, it comes down to almost the middle of my back, needs a lot of moisture, I don't use hot tools or hair dyes, I suck at getting regular trims, and basically has a mind of it's own really, lol. What I like about this shampoo is: - it's scent: nice and light, doesn't linger too long, does not smell too perfumey for me - it's texture: it's smooth and works through my hair well without causing tangles - it's lather: it lathers just right for me. It doesn't get crazy sudsy and bubbly, it's the right amount of lather to leave my hair feeling clean and not stripped. - because I use this with the matching conditioner: my hair feels clean, soft and smooth, my frizz is tame, my hair has a nice subtle shine, my hair does not feel coarse or stripped of moisture, my hair isn't puffy, it smells nice, it does not feel weighed down, and when I prolong getting a trim and go months upon months til I do, my dead ends/split ends look all under control and very minimal, surprisingly! (When I prolong my trims for a long time, I still get great compliments on how healthy and soft my hair is, and the hair dresser always asks me what I use). - it rinses out of my hair with no issues What I dislike: - it's price tag - it's consistency: it's a bit more on the thin, fluid-like side so sometimes I end up pouring out more than what I need. I shouldn't really call this a dislike because it's not a big deal, but I don't like using more than what I need to, especially since this is a bit pricey. All in all, I love this stuff! If you want to splurge on yourself and do something nice for your hair, I highly recommend giving this a shot! Pair it with the conditioner and you are good to go!
