After recovering from perioral dermatitis, I was very hesitant to use anything abrasive on my sensitive skin. Recognizing I needed a gentle exfoliant to remove dry flakes and to control breakouts, I gave this product a try. Starting with 1x week, then gradually increasing to 2x week, I noticed my skin looked healthier and more vibrant. A gentle massage of the product is effective to achieve results. If a heavy hand is used, you may notice a bit of irritation as some of the particles can be abrasive and scratch the skin. The scrub is a powder that suds up well with water. I would not recommend using it daily or every other day as it can make the skin feel a bit dry and tight when used too frequently.

Not exactly what I was expecting! I don't think I read very closely that it was a loose exfoliant- to be mixed with water or face wash. In other words- you actually have to make the exfoliant wash. Very easy, and good results! Not a bad surprise!

During the harsh winter I use this three times a week mixed with Purity Clean, My skin loves it. Plus it helps minimize breakouts.

Definitely not an everyday cleanser but I love using this scrub twice a week to give my skin a deep clean and buff away any dead skin. My face is always left feeling and looking smoother and brighter.
