Skin must be thoroughly cleansed and free of surface oils before beginning. With the special spatula, place a small amount of Cover Creme Full Coverage Foundation SPF 30 in the palm of your hand. Using a circular motion, soften and warm creme with your finger. Using a dab-pat motion, apply creme with tip of your finger until the imperfection is completely covered. Lightly blend edges outward until no line of demarcation is seen. Allow to dry for a minute. Use Dermablend Setting Powder to seal the cover creme and prevent it from rubbing off. For best results remove with Dermablend Long Wear Makeup Remover, a non-greasy, cream formula with glycerin to remove waterproof and long-wearing makeup while keeping your skin soft.
HOW TO FIND YOUR SHADE
STEP ONE: FIND YOUR SHADE FAMILY
Identify the skin tone closest to yours. Are you fair, light, medium, tan or deep? Our shades range from 0 (fairest shade) to 90 (deepest shade). Identify your shade family and this will indicate what shade family number is best for you (fair 0-20, light 20-30, medium 30-45, tan 45-70, deep 70-90).
STEP TWO: IDENTIFY YOUR UNDERTONE
Are you cool (C), neutral (N) or warm (W)? Here's a trick to find out:
- If the veins on your wrist are slightly green or olive and gold jewelry flatters your skin more than silver, you have a warm (W) undertone.
- If the veins on your wrist are blue-green and gold and silver jewelry flatters your skin, you have a neutral (N) undertone.
- If the veins on your wrist are blue or purple and silver jewelry flatters your skin more than gold, you have a cool (C) undertone.
STEP THREE: FIND YOUR SHADE
Navigate your shade family (fair, light, medium, tan or deep) and look for any shades with your undertone (C, N, W). Select the combination of shade family number and undertone letter that appears to best match to you. If in doubt, go to the lighter of the two shades.

Using for over 20 yrs
I've been using this Cover Blend for over 20 years, and I just love this. But now after 20 years of excellent coverage they have now stopped selling my shade. I have tried the replacement shades but it's not working. I am very disappointed!

This would probably work great for your face but I need it to cover scars on my legs and color matching has been difficult and it rubs off on everything even with the lock spray. The consistency is great though.

pretty heavy but, blends away good, make sure to grab the correct color! i use it for vitiligo and have to use a green color corrector concealer underneath if not it'll look too orange not what i need! a little goes a long way

I use the shade hazelnut and it's truly lovely. After warming it on my hands, I press the foundation into my skin. Spritz my face with a mineral mist and it's set and ready to go. Highly recommend for full coverage

Every time I wear this, my family comments that my makeup looks like I still need to blend it in, no matter how much bluffing I do. It always sits on the face, and then it gets worse not better throughout the day. Color is also a bit dark for my light skin.

I was so excited to finally try this product - I've had my eye on Dermablend for years. The coverage was good, and it didn't look too heavy. But it made my skin so dry and flaky. I was really surprised because I have oily skin normally. I even tried exfoliating first, using a good moisturizer, and not using any serums - but it still made my skin flaky. I can't use it and am so disappointed.

I've only used this once, but didn't have a great experience. It was really heavy and thick. I appreciate that it's heavily pigmented, but it exacerbates the look of my dry skin and acne. I never use primer, but I suspect it might help smooth this foundation out better. I prefer Dermablend's liquid foundation.

Dermablend's Cover Creme Full Coverage Foundation is one of the best full coverage foundations. It works really well even on textured skin, hides any pigmentation or spots you want to cover while still giving you the appearance of perfect skin while still looking natural. Works no all skin types. Wears well and will last thru day. Photographs well also and is great for big events ie wedding pictures etc.
