Color me impressed
5Like many during the pandemic, I've been annoyed by my roots but not too excited by going to the salon. I was nervous to do it myself but really all my hair needed was a simple root touch up around the temples. This feels really upscale and professional. I've used drugstore haircolor before and they don't come with brushes like this one. The color lasts and you just have to retouch it when it grows out. The color was perhaps not a perfect match, but blended so well I was the only one who noticed. I wish they gave you two brushes and bowls for the two applications - using it the second time around is a bit messy. Highly recommended for low-key colored hair (i.e., not a lot of highlights/balayage).

4The best color touch up kit I’ve ever purchased. The result is very natural unlike the typical drugstore boxed sets. The dark brown comes out a nice rich chocolate color. Only negative is that you need to leave it on quite long but it’s worth it.

5I used the light brown color touch for gray roots. This worked so well compared to over the counter touch ups. One application covered my roots over the crown of my head. Easy to apply and I left it on for a full hour. Super happy with the results.

2Been having to resort to coloring my own hair while salons are closed in California. I tried Madison Reed twice and was pleased. Decided to try Hue and was disappointed from the start. I felt like there was not enough product to cover my roots. The conditioner did not leave my hair soft. When I finally looked at the results, my grays are now strawberry blonde. The hair color I bought was Dark Brown. Looks like I will be buying some drug store box color this weekend.
