Works ok but smells terrible
2This product is definitely more of a gentle scrub than a true cleansing cream. It is brown and grainy. I appreciate that it doesn't dry out my skin. However, it literally smells like a combination of yeast and bug spray.

5I have combo skin, which is getting more dry as I have reached 40, and this Cleanser never strips my skin. Takes a bit to trust that the lack of the squeaky clean feeling after cleansing is a good thing! And the scent is divine. Together with the Melissa Day Cream, my skin has never looked or felt better!

1Dermstore sent me the wrong product. I ordered three Dr. Hauschka face products and Dermstore sent me a brush and some hair product. I have called and e-mailed on multiple occasions but never heard back. I understand customer service being backed up, but over two weeks without a response is just inexcusable. I love this facewash...but it would be great if I actually received it. If you want to try it out, order it from somewhere other than Dermstore so you actually receive it...

5I was really excited to try this but I literally could not stand the smell! I liked the consistency but would not recommend for anyone that is sensitive to smells in skincare. It's hard to describe the smell but it smells nothing like other Dr. Hauschka products and I have quite a few.

3I have normal/dry skin and am used to typical cream type cleansers. When first using the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream, I absolutely hated it - the smell is somewhere between fermented potatoes and dirt, the texture is a bit off-putting, and it doesn't feel like it really cleanses. But over time I realized that this fits a niche for very dry skin. I wish I could give this 3.5 starts - it does a great job but the consistency and scent are a solid 'eh' - so I'll just go for 3. It leaves behind a layer of oil that doesn't leave your skin feeling properly cleansed, but unlike a regular oil it dries down fully and leaves my skin feeling nice, clean, and moisturized. I think that this could even be a one step product for some people! While it functions beautifully, the form takes some getting used to. The "exfoliating" bits don't really exfoliate, they're just mushy chunks of almond meal, which I guess is neither good nor bad. The "cream" is a thick paste which needs to be mixed with water in order to spread it around, which takes a bit more time than I'd like to spend on cleansing. And the scent grew on me over time, now I find that it smells a bit earthy and herbal. While I do prefer other cleansers for daily use, I use this when my skin is feeling very very dry and I want to pack an additional moisturizing step in wherever I can.

5I honestly won't call it a cleansing cream. It is more close to a daily scrub that is gentle. IT smells not pleasant but still okay to me. ITs texture is like grinder almond. And it does have almond in it. It adds some fun to routine cleansing. If you feel like you want something extra, you can use it after regular cleansing steps.

3I liked the thought of this cleanser because it has natural ingredients, but I didn't like the cleanser itself. There was nothing truly bad about it, however, my skin didn't feel clean after I used it. While it didn't strip my skin of oils, I also felt like it left a film. The smell wasn't to my liking either. I wanted to like this cleanser, but it just didn't do it for me.

4This product was my first foray into the world of Dr. Hauschka skin care. I was so surprised that I enjoyed it that I ran out and purchased a large sample size. It has a lovely grainy texture, which comes from the almond meal it contains. It doesn't foam, so that aspect of it takes a few uses to get used to. However, my skin felt refreshed and clean, not greasy or dry. I would buy it again if it could remove makeup-it really is just for skin cleansing. My skin looked really good while I was using it as well. Smells nice(a little earthy for those who don't like "hippy" products)and the tube is convenient.

5Not my favorite face cleanser. It has a different texture than I'm used to. It didn't cause any negative effects but it also didn't do a whole lot for my skin.

5This cleanser is creamy and has gentle exfoliants in it. My skin always feels soft and smooth after using it, and never dried out or tight. Perfect for any skin type!
