So I've seen every influencer and celeb obsessed with sharing all their skincare and makeup tips incessantly hawk this product all over the internet....they're actually right (it pains me to say that). I've tried a lot of face washes, but I've always found that there was always some mascara left or it just didn't feel clean enough. I hated using separate makeup removers, and I just came to terms that my face wouldn't feel all of the makeup gone unless I washed my face in the shower. Keep in mind I don't really wear much more than sunscreen, tinted moisturizer, mascara and bronzer. This is the ONLY product that dissolves and removes my makeup - I use a wet towel (from Clean Skin Club) to remove it and then double-cleanse using another gentle cleanser. I sometimes will use warm water to turn the balm into a milky substance if I don't want to double-cleanse.

I do like this balm, I'm in my 40s and thought I would try a cleansing balm instead of a cleanser. I have broken out a little since using this. It could just be hormones .

In the "at a glance" section, is says this product is fragrance-free. This is wrong - Dermstore please fix. Fragrance (parfum) is on the ingredient list, as well as many other fragrance ingredients. When using the product, the fragrance is very strong - like rubbing perfume on your face. Gross.

I was not expecting to like the as much as I do. I have super sensitive skin and don’t often try products of this consistency. After opening it I was also hesitant because of the scent. It smells wonderful but I tend to avoid putting anything that smells perfume like on my face - BUT ITS AMAZING. I love it and will definitely be repurchasing.

I like this product. The fragrance of the essence oils (I think it’s the essence oils) is a bit tough of my skin. But it’s my go to product when I am extra tired or want to give myself a face massage.
