A lot of women are complaining that this looks chalky on them. That's because they're too dark to wear this sunscreen. If you are pale, you can wear a sunscreen with a White tint. If you have neglected your skin and become tan, or are unfortunate enough to just be naturally dark skinned, then this won't look right on you. It's just common sense.

Excellent product for fair skinned individuals, because it whitens the skin to make it appear even whiter brighter than it naturally is. However, if you have a medium skin color - or even average - it will be way too white.

My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen for my super-sensitive, breakout-prone skin years ago, and I have been using it ever since. It is not only really effective, but it also neutralizes my reddish face with a bit of white. I even wear it to bed for extra moisture! Highly recommended.

Like most products produced by Topix Pharmaceuticals, this is a truly exceptional product. The ingredient list is top-notch. And, unlike some other reviewers, a cast did not appear on my skin upon applying this product. However, if the product comes into contact with sweat or rain, the white cast becomes quite dramatically noticeable. I far prefer Replenix Sheer Physical Cream SPF 50+, also produced by Topix.

This is a non-toxic sunscreen with a smooth texture. It feels light on my skin and does not leave a ghosty pale residue. I will buy it again!

Whitens and lightens skin, which is the main benefit of using a Zinc based sunblock. If you are average or dark complected, forget about it though.

If you have truly light skin, you can use this product. If you are like most people and have just regular colored skin like beige or something, then you won't be able to pull this off. This product has a white tint to it, that goes only with light skins. Great product.

pro's- zinc oxide as a safe sunscreen (no chemicals), seems to contain good antioxidants, very little white residue, good around eyes con's- ingredients listed in alphabetical order!! so annoying because I can't see the relative amounts of the ingredients, slightly clogging for oily skin

I have always purchased this sunscreen from my dermatologist... It's a wonderful product, oil free yet goes on smoothly. It has sink which is the most important ingredient in sunscreen...

Non-chemical sunscreen does not irritate my skin. It also doesn't give me the white ghost look. I'm going to order another bottle to keep at work for my lunchtime walks outdoors.
