EltaMD's UV Sheer Broad-Spectrum SPF 50+ provides powerful protection against UVA and UVB rays. Water and sweat-resistant, this advanced formula absorbs quickly into the skin hydrating and calming heated and red skin without leaving the face shiny or with a white cast. When applied, a sheen-like look appears then immediately dries down to a matte finish helping to even skin tone. Antioxidant protection combats skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet, infrared radiation while offering high-energy visible (HEV) light protection.
Key Ingredients:
- Zinc Oxide: natural mineral compound that works as a sunscreen agent by reflecting and scattering UVA and UVB rays
- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): humectant that attracts and retains moisture, improving skin feel and restores suppleness
- Squalane: contains plant-derived squalane which restores skin's natural moisture and suppleness
- Antioxidant: contains vitamin C to combat skin-aging free radicals associated with ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) and offers high-energy visible (HEV) light protection

Tip: UV Sheer does not require a special cleanser and can be easily removed by regular facial wash.

Nice SPF face cream!
I decided to try this SPF face cream as all the others were either sticky or whitening on my face and others would burn my eyes. This face cream is light and smooth and really works well. I’m glad I treated myself to this SPF cream.

I had bought this for my husband, but he didn't end up liking it because it did still have a little bit of a white cast. For me, this was too drying to use on the face since I have very dry skin. I didn't mind the level of white cast, but it was just too drying for me. The formula felt nice to rub into the skin, not too thick. I ended up using it up on my arms and chest and it worked well for those areas. I think it would work better on the face for those who are oily or maybe have combination skin.

This sunscreen soaks right in and does not clog my pores. If anything, it protects my skin and makes it look better! The only thing i don't like is that it leaves white caste.

I'm embarrassed to list the number of sunscreens I've tried & hated until this one. This checks ALL my boxes: lightweight, water resistant, no white cast, doesn't interfere with makeup application, doesn't pill or make "eraser dirt", doesn't cost a million dollars, isn't dewy/oily, doesn't smell to high heaven - it's pretty much perfect. Can't recommend this enough!

I like using this sunscreen as it is light and sheer and yet offers excellent SPF UVA?UVB protection. Great product for outdoor sports activities and women and for men as well. My husband says it is the best sunscreen compared to other brands.

I bought this version for the gym because it was water proof. Well it isn’t sweat proof but I still came to love this product. Unlike the other elta md sunscreen I have that has niacinamide in it, this one does not flush my skin and give me red cheeks for the first hour after application. This product also has a thinner consistency and took some getting used to but I would definitely repurchase.

My favorite facial SPF is Elta UV clear so I decided to try this to use for my whole family. It does leave a bit of a white cast, but does a great job protecting skin even while swimming which was important to me.
