Plenty of moisture without being too heavy!5
I have sensitive, oily skin that’s prone to acne and rosacea. This moisturizer works very well for me as a “winter moisturizer” — a little creamier for when the air feels drier, but not too heavy.Report this review
Discovered this from a makeup artist while getting my makeup done for family photos. It’s really hydrating and provides enough coverage that I know skip my makeup primer. It sets a nice base for foundation or CC/BB or tinted moisturizer. Recommend for every day use.Report this review
Great for Sensitive Skin!5
This is a must have for sensitive acne/rosacea prone skin. I love using this before applying makeup in the morning. It has a slightly unpleasant scent (very medicinal) but otherwise fantastic!Report this review
The best crème for sensitive skin5
I love this product it is my go to for having plump skin instantly, it does feel a bit silky board line oily. But that is what I want in my moisturizersReport this review
I wanted to try the sensitive version of Embryolisse Lait Creme. However, I will switch back to the original formula. The version for sensitive skin is too liquid. It also DOES have a fragrance that I personally don't like. It is however a good moisturizing cream.Report this review
This cream is good under makeup, for someone who has dry and hypersensitive skin, like i do. It irritates my eyes a little bit, so i try to put something more gentle around eyes. It's a cheap, good option for times when I know I will be putting makeup for a couple hours and wash it off for the night. Like a casual primer. Another thing is that it makes my rosacea flare up a little bit, but after I put my makeup it looks good.Report this review
The best face moisturizer5
I have tried many moisturizers and this is by far my favorite. It's the perfect texture and rubs in very easily. I have combination skin and this works great for dryness and doesn't leave me looking oily in the t zone area. If you have red, inflamed, acne prone skin please try this! It helped in clearing my skin, I used the cerave moisturizer before this one, it did nothing for my skin.Report this review
A fragrance free version of this product AT LAST!4
4/5 stars. It's not perfect but I do really like this. I was very excited to see that Embryolisse made a fragrance-free version of their beloved moisturizer. The original version is nice but the smell could be overpowering and the mineral oil didn't really agree with my skin. It also never fully sunk it...I wanted to love it but it just didn't work. So when this came out I was very much interested in trying it. I love the fact that this version is fragrance AND mineral oil free as my skin doesn't tolerate either very well. My ONLY complaint is that this comes up pretty runny and quickly. I feel like this definitely could lead to product being used up quicker than intended. Other than that I love that they kept the metal tube, and a lot of the same ingredients. This is moisturizing enough and works well with my combo/dry hyper sensitive skin. Will repurchase and recommend, especially if you love French pharmacy products as I do! It's a basic moisturizer but it does its job! *Some people have been complaining about the scent in reviews I've read of this product, but I really don't mind it! If you're used to putting perfume on your face this may not appeal to you.*Report this review
Very Good Moisturizer for Sensitive, Acne-prone skin5
When I saw that Embryolisse came out with a version of their Lait-Creme Concentrate that didn't have fragrance I was so excited to try it, and I'm really glad I did! It's a very moisturizing and soothing but weightless and a little goes a long way! I was worried that it might be too emollient for my skin to handle with shea butter AND beeswax, but I didn't break out at all. 3 oz of product makes it worth the price!Report this review
So happy they made an unscented version!!!5
For the longest time, I've been hoping they'd make an unscented version of the original. The original is absolutely amazing, but I wasn't a fan of the flowery scent. I even started searching for a replacement because I couldn't handle the fragrance anymore. This version is just as good and while the unscented smell isn't great, it's light and disappears quickly and is a lot more tolerable than the flower scent. I don't normally have sensitive skin, so I tend to use harsher products in rotation with tretinoin and sometimes end up with irritated skin. Both versions of this lotion are the only things I've found that don't burn my skin when it's angry. I've tried numerous "sensitive" skin creams, lotions, and even doctor's after-treatment salves and this is the only thing that works for me. My face can be pink and raw and this stuff doesn't sting one bit. When I use it at night, by itself or over other serums, I wake up with nearly healed skin that's hydrated, plump, and glowing. When building up tolerance to tretinoin, I've used this lotion over it and have mixed them together, and I didn't get any irritation. The consistency is perfect. It's a very light, creamy, milky lotion, that goes on smoothly and doesn't feel heavy or oily, but is very protective and moisturizing. It can feel a little slick to the touch for awhile at first, so during the day if I'm wearing makeup that I want to last, I use it sparingly, or blot my face a bit with a towel. As long as they keep making it, this will forever be my go-to lotion. And now I can buy the big size without fearing I'll end up not being able to use it up just because of the scent.Report this review
