I use this as a first cleanser. It has a very strong scent. I enjoy using it and it helps remove eye makeup. I probably won’t repurchase because of the price and because it isn’t a game changer. It was fun to try as a splurge. 

Definitely not drying. This is a comfortable cleanser that isn’t stripping. May work well as a first step in a double cleanse at night or just by itself in the morning. It smells light, like flowers. 

This cleanser is very thick and not easy to spread and after rinse I feel like I have a film of grease on my face and have to clean my face again with something else.

I love the way this cleanser smells. Its refreshing and light, and doesn't dry out my skin. I will purchase again. The only downside I see, is that you can't tell how much is left with the way it is packaged. I ran out of it before I realized it was low!

I don't typically prefer gel over cream cleansers. However, this cleanser gently exfoliates as well as removed make-up and cleans my skin. I am happy with the results of the product but the odor is a deterrent. It smells like a bag of oranges in an old, musty closet.

I like it as a first cleanse, but you need a muslin cloth/ washcloth. As a second cleanse, I find it's too gentle and leaves a residue. The scent is the same as the original cleansing balm from Emma Hardie and I prefer the original formula over the gel. This just isn't as good as the original.

I got this product in my beautyfix & I like it because of it's great scent that is distinct but not too strong & how soft it leaves the skin. Only reason I feel like I would give it 4 stars is because I'm not 100% sure it cleaned off my whole face. The beautyfix sample was a tube so I think the pump would be better with this product because it says you should use a hazelnut sized amount, so maybe I just wasn't using enough. Honestly the scent alone & the after feeling of your skin is worth it to me, but maybe used in conjunction with something else like for double cleansing.

I got this in my beautyfix box and I think this is a great cleanser but you definitely need to do a prior cleanse to remove makeup and sunscreen because this product is so gentle and non stripping that it just won't remove other products completely. My favorite way to use it was in the am when I am just washing away my nighttime products and my face would not get overly dry. Removing 2 stars though because the price point I think is a bit high and the smell was definitely not for me.

I was actually really sad when I finished my sample tube of this cleanser. I love getting cleansers in the BeautyFIX boxes, so was happy the July box came with one. The EH cleanser glides onto my face really smoothly and rinses off easily. I didn't find it to be drying either. I think the sea fennel extract is what's contributing to the slight scent. It may bother others, but I thought it was subtle enough to be refreshing. When I got towards the end of the tube, some of the gel got a little crusty around the mouth, but I think that's just a result of the sample, not full-size packaging.

I received this in a Beautyfix sample. I enjoyed using it for the texture and ingredients. It didnt strip the skin and felt very hydrating while also cleaning the skin. It removed makeup well if I used it at night but I would follow up with a light exfoliation afterwards.
