Upgraded ingredients a downgrade
Thankfully I purchased a large bottle of the old formula shampoo right before they switched to a new formula (pre 2020) which lasted me up until now. Seeing the new formula listed as well as a new scent, I hesitated to buy a new bottle but did so anyway. Old formula EvolvH ultra shine shampoo is the best shampoo I’ve ever used, left my hair bouncy and shiny, so I rode on my elation for it. The new formula is totally different: feels thicker on my fingers, leaves my hair squeaky (too clean) while shampooing, smells generic. I miss the old scent/formula and regret paying a premium price for my hair to look dryer and less shiny, performing like any average shampoo. Boo!

Loving the EVOLVh Healthy Hair Trio. Finally a decent shampoo/conditioner with clean ingredients that actually does something for my hair! Feel like it cleans and leaves looking shiny and voluminous! Also pleasantly surprised by the leave in conditioner- I have thin hair so typically these products weigh my hair down but this does not! a little goes a long way plus it is very light. will def be purchasing again

Not for curly hair
I have 2c curly hair and wanted to give this a try because I feel my hair is missing some shine. However, I was a bit disappointed because it left my hair dry and shapeless. I'm giving it 3 stars because it has natural ingredients that are healthy for your hair but it's not for my hair, unfortunately.

strong grapefruit scent not like prior product
My daughter had been using the EVOLVh UltraShine products for 6 months or more. She convinced me to try her some of her shampoo and conditioner. After several washes, I fell in love with the scent, suds, and shine. After I used up the shampoo she had shared with me, I ordered my own set. I was so excited to use my new products on a regular basis, little did I expect that the products would now disappoint me. My first shampoo I noticed that the nice smell had been replaced with a strong grapefruit smell and the shampoo did not suds as nicely. It also seemed less moisturizing than the shampoo my daughter had given me. When you read the key ingredients listed in the Dermstore description it does not mention grapefruit. When you read the label on the shampoo bottle it lists grapefruit as one of the last ingredients. My daughter came to visit and used my shampoo. She was shocked at the difference in the shampoo. I reached out to company to see if there was an explanation for the change but was unable to talk to a costumer representative because you have to leave a message and they never returned my call. Did I get an incorrectly formulated batch? Did they change the formula? Sadly, I fell in love with their product and am now disappointed in what I purchased for $70. I am considering returning the product.
