I've been using GlyDerm's Intense C Serum PM for just over a month and it's such a wonderful and effective product I felt compelled to write a review on it! My skin both dry & oily (combination), sensitive, and acne-prone. I also use prescription acne medications- which can make my skin ever more dry and sensitized than it is naturally. I was looking for a vitamin C serum with a short & non-comedogenic ingredient list that would also be gentle on my sensitive skin. Other vitamin C serums I've used in the past have stung and/or irritated my skin. Glyderm's serum does NOT sting or irritate my skin in ANY way- even if I apply it over my acne medication! I can also apply it under my eyes with no issues or sensitivity. I definitely have seen an improvement in my overall complexion from using it. I can't say it necessarily addresses dark spots/hyperpigmentation per se- but it absolutely brightens my skin overall, which seems to also "dull" dark spots. This product is fragrance-free and I notice no odor when I apply it. It absorbs fast and does not leave my skin oily or dry. Note: if you have dry skin (like myself) this probably won't be enough to use as a moisturizer alone. I either mix a few drops of vitamin E oil with it, or, follow it with a moisturizer. Lastly, this product is VERY reasonably priced compared to a lot of vitamin C serums I see on Dermstore. I will likely purchase it again- unless I can find a vitamin C serum with vitamin E that works just as well. I am currently using a different (much more expensive) vitamin C & E serum and it's nowhere near as (visibly) effective as Glyderm's vitamin C serum so I still use my Glyderm Vitamin C serum before using the other vitamin C & E serum. I feel like I saw an immediate- albeit subtle- difference in my skin tone from the first application of Glyderm's Vitamin C serum. I haven't seen that immediate effect with the other/more expensive vitamin C & E serum.
