Not moisturizing enough
3I really like Image products, which contain great clean ingredients at a value. My aesthetician recommended this, and I found it very effective at preventing sunburn, nice scent, did not exacerbate my acne and did not irritate - so right there it's ahead of most. However, I don't generally like mattifying products and this was no exception. I do have acne-prone, slightly oily skin but not that oily, and in my 40s I need more moisture. My skin felt too dry and overproduced oil throughout the day, creating a slurry of chalk and oil on top of my skin. I switched to the moisturizing (non-matte) version and it has all the same good qualities, without the chalkiness. I do recommend trying this if you have youthful, oily, acne prone skin.

3I didn't love this SPF. I really liked it when I first applied it, but it dried too matte, and was drying for my combination skin. It also leaves a white cast (I have light-medium skin with a yellow undertone). It smells really nice though (papaya).

5One of my favorite SPFs. It's matte which is nice, and I typically wear it when I'm going running or working out outside. It has a slight fragrance to it but nothing awful. It works well with my oily acne prone skin. I'm pretty fair and it leaves a slight White cast on my skin but nothing crazy.

2I purchased this after a facial and I didn't like it for me. It was not at all moisturizing to my skin, i have a t-zone oily area. My make up didn't go on smooth and i didn't feel like my skin was getting the moisture in the areas it needed.

5Was recommended this by my esthetician and it is AMAZING. I have combo/acne prone skin and it suits my perfectly. It's super moisturizing without being heavy, I love to apply daily under makeup and I apply it all the way down my neck and declotage as well. It works perfect under makeup, isnt oily/heavy and doesnt make my makeup slide and I am a stickler about moisturizers and sunscreens under makeup but this one is a godsend. AND THE SMELL IS LIKE HEAVEN. Just buy it!

3I have been using La Roche-Posay Effeclar Mat which is a fantastic matte moisturizer for oily skin. But I was very excited to see a matte moisturizer with SPF which is clean and has awesome ingredients for the skin by IMAGE Skincare. Also, the price is fairly reasonable for the size and quality. However, for my skin, this product does not give a matte finish. It actually feels pretty heavy, and I can feel the product on my face all day. In other words, it does not fully absorb, and my face still looks shiny and feels greasy. Not good for someone who has combination or oily skin. That said, it does work well as like a primer under my matte makeup. So, I essentially only apply about a pearl size of this spf moisturizer, and then put on the mattifying makeup and oil control setting spray. I will not be using this product on my "fresh face" days when I do not wear any makeup. One thing I do really like about the product is that is smells good. But, in the end, it is unlikely that I will continue to purchase this product given the aforementioned issues.

5LOVE this SPF! The only one i trust to not only protect my face year round but can confidently use on my oily, acne-prone skin without having to worry about excess shine or surprise breakouts. Apply this right after cleansing the face - no need for additional moisturizer underneath. If you have oily skin, SPF 32 is for you. If you have dry skin, opt for SPF 50.
