Benzoyl Peroxide 5% Lotion contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) - a very effective antibacterial lotion for the treatment of acne and acne-prone skin. This micronized benzoyl peroxide solution assists by killing acne causing bacteria (p. acnes bacteria) and helping to clear dead skin and oil from pores. Jan Marini Skin Research uses ultra-micronized BPO to get even greater penetration into the skin while minimizing sensitivity and irritation common with many benzoyl peroxide solutions. This benzoyl peroxide 5% cream is suitable for all skin types.
Skin Types: Dry, Normal/Combo, Oily.

How to use:
- Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying medication.
- Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a physician.

The best maintenance for acne prone skin.
Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide 5% is the best way to maintain clear skin if you have oily, acne prone skin. I already have a regular skincare regimen, but when I started using the Benzoyl Peroxide I saw fewer and more manageable breakouts. However, my towels now have blemishes from wiping my hands of the Benzoyl Peroxide after application. I just use white towels now. I have been using this product for 4 years and don't plan to change that any time soon.

The very best teenage acne treatment
My teenage son uses this with the Jan Marini face wash. Because he uses this, he does not have to use oral antibiotics to treat acne. His case was that severe. This is an absolute miracle treatment and should be used with the face wash and the sun screen moisturizer. I cannot say enough it deserves higher than a 5 it deserves at least a 500 out of 5. Really, you must try this for your teenager. It really works when they actually use it!
