jane iredale Absence Oil Control Primer features a lightweight cream to powder formula that absorbs oil, controls shine and may be used as a primer. Totally translucent, this face primer minimizes the appearance of large pores beneath a luminous matte finish. Mineral UV filters protect skin from environmental damage, keeping it looking smooth, even and healthy.
Use alone or under any mineral base. Apply to oily facial areas with special sponge included. Absence is also an effective primer on any skin type.

Smooths your skin!
This product is great for my uneven skin and large pores. It evens everything out and gives my skin a much smoother look. I also love that it has SPF so I don't feel like I need to add another layer of goup to my skin to get protection from the sun!

I have pretty oily skin and was looking for a product to help reduce the oiliness and keep my make-up looking fresh all day. I read alot of reviews and this product kept coming up. Well, after using it now for about a month....I'm not impressed. Basically, it's not any better or worse than any other over the counter product I've used and considering the price, I don't know if I would buy it again.

Absence Makes My Heart Fonder!
Here's a primer for your mineral make-up! You apply this invisible cream with the supplied sponge, and then you apply your mineral make-up over it. Sometimes I use Jane Iredale Mineral Make-up, and sometimes I use Bare Minerals make-up over Absence. It doesn't matter which make-up goes over it; they're both "locked on" by Jane Iredale's Absence. I have spent a lot of money trying "oil barriers," and this is the first one which works, doesn't clog my pores and which applies in a tidy, consistent manner. It's also affordable, as a little of the product goes a LONG way. Waaaaay cool stuff, this Absence! Thank you very much, Jane Iredale!

Absence provides a smooth base for mineral makeup. It's great for covering large pore areas and for absorbing oil in the T-zone. I work out alot and I find that it makes my mineral makeup last longer too. I highly recommend this product. The SPF is an added bonus!
