jane iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow delivers color-rich mineral pigments for dazzlingly beautiful eye makeup. Its lightweight, crease-resistant formula contains nourishing pine bark extract to increase wear time and prevent smudging. The pressed eyeshadow is ideal for shading and highlighting, with an ultra-gentle powder even for the most sensitive eyes.

Oyster/Supernova is a soft pearl sheen and shimmery copper eggplant shade.
Use our Simple Eye Technique. Apply your darkest color in a sideways V with our Eye Contour Brush. Highlight above the iris in a medium shade with our Eye Shader Brush. Highlight the brow bone in your lightest shade with our Deluxe Shader Brush. Blend well with a clean brush. It's always a good idea to brush the base powder on the eyelid to even out the skin tone and for sun protection. Don't try to match the eye color with a shadow, since this will only cancel-out the eye. A complementary/contrasting color is what makes the eye pop (e.g., brown/blue). Spritz our eyeliner brush with D2O, Balance or POMMISST and pick up shadow for an eyeliner that stays and stays. If you have red or dark circles, stay away from blue or gray tones. They just accentuate the darkness.

pretty shadow
the shadow is very pretty. Very smooth and blendable. I was a little disappointed that the supernova color was not as dark as I hoped. Definitely more of a natural/neutral tone. I bought it for the oyster color though so I was pleased with it.

The best pigment
I freaking love these 2 colors. They have wonderful pigments and its so soft and creamy. Down fall is the price much like most Jane iredale products but you get what you pay for. I love love love this. Bought several times and will continue to buy.

Oyster/Supernova eyeshadow duo
Jane Iredale always makes the softest, high quality eyeshadows! The colors in this package are gorgeous. The oyster works marvelously for highlighting your cheek bones as well as your eyes. It gives the prettiest glow without being excessive. The eggplant might be my favorite color and it would work so well on every eye color. I was worried the shadows might be too shimmery, but they had just the right soft, pearly sheen. I knocked one star off because of the price: $30 for a tiny compact of eyeshadow is an indulgence for me. But it's true you get what you pay for and the price is certainly reflective of the quality of this product.

Not a great color combo for my neutral/cool skin tone
I love the French Toast/Taupe duo so much, I purchased this color combo based on the positive reviews and the fact that I usually look good in muted purples. Unfortunately, this duo makes me look like I am ill, bruised, and dirty. The purple was too brown, and the oyster was too yellow. The texture and packaging are very good. I have no complaints there, so I feel back docking it for color, but I want to give it a fair review, and color is a huge part of what I like and dislike. Oyster/Supernova is probably more flattering on warmer skin tones.
