Light primer
It’s a little too sheer for what I like in a primer, particularly one that helps smooth larger pores. It does absorb well and makeup applies well over it.

I have been using this product for about 10 years and will continue to use it as long as your don't change the formula! It seems to blend well with moisturizer that I apply before the primer as well as the make up/sunscreen that I use after applying the primer. Five stars!!!

I have rosacea so the first thing I consider before I buy anything is how it will affect my skin. I was assured that any of the Jane Iredale primers works for sensitive skin so I went with the brightening primer. It does give a certain luminousity (?) to my face without making it shiny. I would potentially try one of the other 2 primers Jane Iredale has just to switch it up but would recommend this one too.
