I use this for my morning cleanse. I apply to dry skin because I found it dissolves my night skincare products and facial oil better without wetting my skin first. I gently swirl it in circular motions to distribute it evenly (without any pressure or tugging on my skin), then let the cleanser sit for 20-30 seconds. BTW, this includes swiping it underneath my eye and over the lid (just not on the water line). I then rinse with cool water. This has been a total game changer. It leaves my skin so soft and I've had less inflammation since adding this to my routine. My skin issues come back within 2-3 days if I stop using this, so it's the only AM cleanser I use now. I've struggled for over a decade with hormonal and inflammatory acne, and I had never found a cleanser that actually HELPED. Honestly, I was just looking for a nontoxic one that had a neutral effect because so many toxic & nontoxic face washes clogged my pores, were drying, caused sensitivity, or otherwise interfered with keeping my skin in a clear state. Absolutely no issues with this cleanser and even got excellent results in skin suppleness, after I experimented and found the best way to use it! Highly recommend this as AM cleanser, especially using it as described above.

No matter how much of this product I use or how long I use it for, it does not thoroughly cleanse my face. Maybe I'm supposed to use it with the treatment oil it recommends to use afterwards because alone it does a terrible job. I don't wear make up - only a light tinted moisturizer - and it can't even take that off well. In order to not waste it I use it as a first step of cleansing my face. It is a very light, gentle facial wash with a pleasant scent and the ingredients are clean but I would not rely on this to cleanse your face well at night. It might be better to use in the morning before applying other skin care products.

I use this almost everytime I shower, especially after using retinol products. This cleanser is super gentle, and doesn't further irritate my acne prone/sensitive skin. Also great ingredient list.

I'm 32 with sensitive combo/acne-prone skin. This makes my skin feel stripped and raw. I would only recommend if you have truly oily skin.

I did not like the way this product felt on my skin and it made my dermititis act up. I was disappointed. I returned this.

I bought this product after I realized the face wash I was using for years (Olay foaming face wash) had formaldehyde in it. So I was happy it's completely organic! I think it smells great, but you will have to use another cleanser before using this to get your makeup off. I use a Korean oil face wash before using this. It's great for a morning cleanser as well since it's so gentle and smells refreshing.

I read the other reviews and was surprised this got such low ratings. Yes... it is not the best for taking makeup off but in the morning in the shower... its like the best ever!!!! It smells amazing and does not dry out your skin at all. VERY GENTLE. I love it. All I put on after I get out is pure aloe vera gel maybe mixed with a small amount of essential oil... Its like a spa in a bottle.

I am in my late 30's and love this cleanser. I don't wear a lot of makeup on the regular, but when I do, simply removing it with hemp seed oil prior to cleansing with this facial wash works perfectly every time. This cleanser has a pleasant and refreshing spa-like scent, and leaves my skin feeling nourished, balanced and clean. I have found that cleansing with warm water is most effective for this product. I also love Juice Beauty's Antioxidant serum (which I add Frankincense and Lavender essential oils to), their SPF 30 Tinted Mineral Moisturizer and Sport Sunscreen, and Herbivore's Blue Tansy Mask and Rose Hibiscus Facial Mist. This combination of skin care goods has most definitely helped me stay looking way younger that I really am!

When I used this face wash it left a weird residue on my face and my face still felt dirty. I used it a few times and each time I had to wash my face with something else to get the residue off my face. I have used many Juice Beauty products with great success and have products from the brand that I will repurchase over and over. This isn't one of them.

I used to use a facial wash by Juice Beauty many moons ago that worked really well although it was a little drying. I thought this was the same one. Not only was it completely different I couldn't use it at all because whether morning or night, this did not remove any oil from my face and felt like it didn't clean AT ALL. I feel really let down and as if I wasted money for nothing. Will never be purchasing this again. I used it multiple times... One day after not wearing any makeup - didn't feel clean, skin remained oily. Second time after removing my makeup off with remover (I always use makeup remover and then a gel cleanser) still didn't feel clean. One morning when I had nothing on my face, again, didn't feel clean. Because I used it multiple times to see if it would work at all, I didn't feel I had the right to return it, so now I'm using it to clean my feet in the shower because what else can I do with it, if it doesn't remove any oils? VERY DISAPPOINTED!
