Cicaplast Baume
4Nice thick cream for night or extra dry areas. I think I was expecting it to be slightly more balmy/glassy like petrolatum but nonetheless it traps moisture pretty well. I wore this to work one day as moisturizer and it started to flake/pill by the evening so not my go to daily moisturizer. I think adding a dab of vaseline over this makes it perfect.

5I love using this on night I use retinol. It cuts any irritation or dryness I would normally experience. It's also great to layer on the skin when it's super dry, either morning or night. Highly recommend if you have a compromised skin barrier.

5I love this in all seasons. It's great for my sensitive skin, especially when it needs a little extra TLC. I wish they sold it in a larger size!

5This lotion is very nice and you do not need to use a lot of it. I will continue to buy it and it is the perfect size to fit in my pocket book.

5I use tret for anti acne and it took my skin from oily to dry, before using this I was getting a lot of dry spots but using the Cicaplast balm has helped my skin to become normal and hydrated. Before I was slugging with aquaphor to get rid of dry spots but it greatly upset my skin if used with tret. I use Cicaplast at the end of my skin care routine and wouldn’t change it for the world. It neutralized my skin irritation caused by tret and makes it comfortable. Truly a holy grail.

5This really feels like it's nourishing my skin. I use it at night in combination with a retinol. I have sensitive skin and have bouts of rosacea, and find this to be quite soothing and not irritating. It's also super moisturizing (without being greasy) and I've noticed it's made my face look plumper and more full. My under-eye area is less sunken, and my neck is less crepe-y. Would recommend!

4This is a very versatile product. You can use it on dry patches, bumps, scrapes, chapped lips, etc. I like to use it on my face in the winter when my sensitive and dry skin is angry. It's great to use for any irritation left after using actives, and I like to use it as a barrier before using a retinoid to protect my more sensitive areas (under the nose, around the mouth, etc.). It is very thick and very white. I am pretty pale, and I typically only use this at night, so it's not a problem for me. Just make sure you rub it in well and give it time to absorb, and the white tint should fade away after a few minutes.
Report this reviewA little underwhelmed
3This is just okay? There are other LRP products that I find way better formulated and every bit as good at calming down my skin. Yes, this does help with irritation for sure. But the formulation is so thick that it’s actually difficult to spread on skin at room temperature. I have to heat it up in my hands first, and even then it’s difficult. I’m not sure why because the Lipikar cream contains similar ingredients (like the shea butter) and it’s much easier to spread. This also leaves a heavier white cast than the Lipikar, I find. They both have titanium dioxide, so be aware that this works best as a night time cream or under makeup. It leaves a purpley-white tint on my skin. I do really like that in spite of being really occlusive and heavy, this cream dries down to the touch. It looks a bit oily but doesn’t rub off or leave stains. It definitely does what it says it does, I just prefer the cheaper and more effective Lipikar. The Klairs Midnight Cream also has similar ingredients and I also find much more cosmetically elegant.
Report this reviewLives up to the hype; just wish there was a bigger size
4I heard about this product through some skincare youtubers I watch. I wanted a moisturizer for the colder months that can help evenly moisturize my face. I just wish it wasn't so small in quantity but I guess a little goes a long way since it is a thicker balmy texture. It also has a light pleasant smell though I didn't find it(fragrance/parfum) listedin the inci list.
Report this reviewSaved my neck
5This creamy baume keeps my neck so smooth. My skin is super sensitive to small amounts of retinol and this baume helps to counteract a harsh reaction on my neck. This product does not contain retinol, which is why I layer it on top of my low concentration retinol product only on my neck. With out this baume, my neck would be red and irritated and get crepey. I could just discontinue use of retinol, however I’m in my forties and retinol is a must in my skin care regimen. This baume saves my neck from any irritation. I love this stuff!
