Effaclar Deep Cleansing Cream
4Cleanses without stripping skin barrier. My skin does not feel dried out after washing with this which is nice. Has been a good summer cleanser as my sensitive/combination skin has been more oily and acne prone with the heat. 4 stars because it is a little too fragrant for me.

5This cleans as well as effaclar gel, but has a nicer texture, IMO. Does a good job cleansing, but not stripping my skin.

5My skin is extremely oily so I use this every day during summer and three times a week during winter. I've been using this cleanser more than five years. I highly recommend this product if you have oily skin.
Report this reviewOne of my favorite LRP
5As the title says, this is one of my favorite La Roche Posay products as it's perfect for clearing your face of the dirt and oils. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who may need it!

4As someone with combination and sensitive skin, I would really only recommend this to someone with oily skin that isn't sensitive and if they aren't using too many other stripping actives, as that could really impair the skin barrier. This product lathers really well (a little goes a long way) and is very creamy, but it did irritate my skin. It does contain fragrance ('Parfum'), so I'm assuming that was what irritated my skin. I would personally recommend the Toleriane line to others. If you do have mild/moderate acne, I would recommend checking out La Roche Posay's 0.1% adapalene gel for nighttime use- this is a more effective acne treatment.
Report this reviewSqueaky Clean - Literally
5This cleanser leaves my face squeaky clean. It's perfect to use in the summer when my face is extra oily and sweaty. It also does a nice job drying up any blemishes that form.
Report this reviewNot great for sensitive skin
3As someone who has struggled with acne for over 10 years, I have tried nearly every product on the market. This cleanser is nice in that it is creamy and not overly drying; however, it did nothing to help clear my acne. Also, if you have sensitive skin it may be too harsh and cause your skin to become too dry as it did when I used it. After about a month of using this every night, I had to stop because the dryness was not worth the results. If you have normal to oily acne prone skin this will probably be great for you but for me, it was just okay.

5Gentle and effective. I recommend it to anyone with sensitive, oily and acne prone skin.

5I've only been using this a few weeks but it's pleasant to use and creates a satisfying foam. My skin feels super clean afterwards but I haven't noticed it to be drying. Too soon to say if it's improving my skin but I'm enjoying using it.
Report this reviewEffective for Mild Acne
5I use this cleanser to treat my mild acne. My pimples are significantly reduced when using this product. However, it can be a bit stripping so I make sure to keep my skin well moisturized afterwards. Also, be warned that a little does go a long way with this product! Seriously, even a pea sized amount will cause white foam to be all over your face (which isn't a bad thing to me).
