Worth it! My pores are leaving!

5

I have been using this for about 9 months now and I am finally starting to see a major reduction with my pores. I understand that there is patience with skin care, but this is the first product I've used in 7 years that I have seen progress. I use it in the evening and wash for around 30 seconds to 1 minute and then I let it sit on my face for about 2 minutes before I wash it off. I really enjoy this product for my face.

Weird packaging and hate the added menthol

2

The product is too liquidy for this kind of packaging, it just spills out when I open it and a lot goes wasted. I also hate the fact that menthol is added to make it seem like there is an active effect happening, I wish they left this ingredient out as it's irritating. The smell of mint on the face while cleansing is a little offputting. I will be going back to Zapzyt cleanser after I finish this bottle.

GREAT CLEANSER FOR ACNE/OILY SKIN

5

I started using this as an affordable alternative to my previous skin wash. The cleanser is gentle and it does not leave your face "tight" feeling or dry. My skin is clean and it gently exfoliates as well. You only need a small amount and my pores are clean afterward. Also I notice that my pimples are less in number as well. In conclusion, Pros: Affordable, cleans skin, gentle, brightens skin, non-drying, scent free and acne appears less. Cons: None at this time.

Odd Packaging

4

I do feel like this product helped lessen my breakouts and kept new ones from forming. The packaging is just very odd. Upon opening the cap, the product just spills out and I always end up with too much product in my hands. I think changing this product to a pump would give it five stars. But right now, the packaging is just too annoying. The product inside does what it is supposed to, though!

Nice for the price

5

Better than the dog store stuff but just as affordable. I only Use this when I feel A breakout coming on. I use a more gentle wash other times. Update: it broke me out pretty badly and I had to continue my search.

Keeps Acne at Bay

4

Great gentle cleanser! Anytime I feel a pimple or acne bout about to come up, using this every night has mitigated the severity the oncoming acne. It is a bit drying so, I like to follow up with a soothing and emollient face cream.

2 weeks review

3

I am not sure if I love it, but it did help with my breakouts. The acne I already had didn't fade away. I still have tiny breakouts really tiny pimples, but no more large acne. I will continue to use it to hopefully see results after a longer period of time.

Decent but not the best.

4

This is a decent face wash with salicylic acid. The downsides are that it contains menthol, which doesn't serve a purpose other than as perfume, and it is extremely watery and foams excessively. It works well but it slightly drying. A much better cleanser is La Roche-Posay's real Effaclar cleanser (the foaming cream one). It's similar to this one in its results, but less drying. I really don't understand why La Roche-Posay created these substandard subsidiary lines for their products. They've done the same for the Toleriane line. The real Toleriane products are amazing and the cheap ones are...not. The cheaper lines are much more heavily marketed in the US but are nowhere near as good as the real ones! Opt for the Effaclar cream cleanser instead. It is slightly more expensive per volume but is far superior. And you need only the tiniest amount of it to work up a rich lather. So in the end it might not even be more expensive.

Great for the body as well!

5

I particularly like this for the body! I use this about 2 times a week in the shower to lightly exfoliate. This keeps my skin smooth and helps combat body breakouts at an affordable price! Only change I would make is when you open the bottle the cleanser starts to come out without me squeezing the tube! Overall great if you are experienced breakouts in general
