Leonor Greyl Bain Traitant à la Propolis Gentle Anti-Dandruff Shampoo gently cleanses away impurities as it comforts and conditions dry, irritated scalps. A calming complex of oat amino acids, propolis, chamomile and sage extracts reduce inflammation and itching. Garlic bulb extract increases circulation to improve moisture levels and prevent flaking. Silicone- and coal tar-free.

Apply to wet hair and emulsify using small amounts of water. When a gentle lather is builds, rinse thoroughly and repeat again. We recommend the application of Huile de Palme prior to shampooing to help detangle and nourish hair.

Best for an anti-dandfuff shampoo
This product seems to work. Have always had a dry scalp and this nice product helps me feel less shameful about that ... trying to use 1x per week ... ok smell, much better than drugstore products.

Does nothing for dandruff
Do not waste your money if you are looking for a dandruff treatment - this shampoo will simply make your scalp more flaky. It does have a lovely, subtle scent and leaves my hair soft and smooth, but my flakes are worse than ever after using this shampoo. An expensive waste!

I absolutely love this product! I have tried some of their other products but this is my fave - although it’s quite pricey, and I try to save money, I continue buying this because it actually works! My dandruff is gone and my hair is simply clean feeling and what a great shine and soft feel it leaves! I can’t be without this! The texture is nice and there’s no annoying or strange smell, actually pleasant smelling. I have tried many shampoos over the years and the French get it right!

good for dandruff; not great on my hair
I appreciate how much better this is than most dandruff shampoos, but my hair still feels very stiff and weird when I rinse it out (3c/4a). Again, for what it is, it's great. But the folks who call it nourishing must have much oilier/very different hair from mine (curly and dense, 3c/4a). I use it on scalp only and it is just fine. I doubt there's a better medicated shampoo out there and will most likely repurchase.

After 30+ years...
I have suffered from moderate to severe dandruff pretty much all my life and have been through the entire gamut of products: H&S (you know the popular drugstore brand), tar shampoos, organic, tea tree, shampoo bars, oil treatments. Some wouldn't work at all (made it worse), some would work a few weeks to months and then stop working. But nothing made it disappear. And then in my 40s I've been getting really dry skin and scalp too. I don't even remember how I came across this brand, but I wanted to wait a while before a submitted a review. Been using it for over 1 1/2 years and my scalp is healthy, pretty much no dandruff, dry skin and red, itchy bumps. I actually use it every other time I shampoo with other LG shampoos (Reviviscence and Bain Volumateur) to help treat scalp and hair. And no need for conditioners. Love this brand and gentle enough that even my teenager has been using it exclusively with a healthy scalp and no more dandruff-luckily he won't have to suffer through years of trying stuff to help him.

Entering my 20s, I started experiencing somewhat heavy dandruff. I've tried so many shampoos and scalp remedies, but nothing worked long-term. Recently, I started using Nizoral after discovering it from viral online reviews. It worked so great like nothing ever before and keeps my scalp clear. The only problem is that it was very drying and I have coarse wavy hairy. I decided to give this a try after seeing that the active ingredient in this shampoo is similar to that of Nizoral. It's not as strong in terms of dandruff control but the lather and scent are nice and it seems to be more gentle on the hair. I might just alternate between the two...
