So far it works well, need to try with wet hair

I have used this twice so far on dry hair as the directions and other reviewer's have stated. It's very difficult to apply to dry hair being that it does not spread very well and you have to use a lot of product. But it seems to have worked really well being that I have not had a haircut for eight months and my ends are very dry. I want to see if it's a different experience applying this to wet hair traditionally like a traditional mask. The smell is nice but you could tell that the floral smell is covering up smell in the mask that smells like a chemical that would be in a perm, which I am not crazy about. But I'll deal with that being that the performance and the results or what I'm after. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth the money.

I like the oil

It's very soothing for my hair and helps restore it to its naturally straight hair. It's great to use.

Exquisite Masque

This masque is absolutely beautiful - it smells lovely, has a wonderful consistency, is easy to distribute, and works best on dry hair. I typically leave it on for about 2 hours after an hour with LG's pre-shampoo oil, and it consistently yields shiny, smooth, and full hair.

Good but expensive

I'm conflicted over this conditioner. It's very expensive, but I love that you put it on dry hair. This saves an entire step of washing first. However, putting it on dry hair has its challenges. My hair is long and it's hard to apply to all of my hair. I don't feel like it's getting to all the strands. I like the way it feels after. I've been using it for about 8 weeks, once weekly. I'm going to get about 10 condition treatments out of this jar. If money is no object, give it a try!

Saw better results on other conditioner

This product is nice however it is quite high maintenance for me. I prefer treatments that sit on my hair for five to ten minutes during shower, then I can wash it off and blow dry my hair. This treatment mask requires leaving products longer time on your hair in order to see results. For lazy people like me, I recommend Leonor Greyl Crème de Soin a L Amarante. I see much better results from the Crème de Soin a L Amarante Conditioner than Masque Quintessence, and it is also less expensive. I recommend trying out different travel size LG conditioners to see if it really works for your hair and if you really like the scent.

Seriously good product for frizz

So my naturally wavy hair has put me on a nearly life long quest for anti frizz products. Most of them do not work very well or do not stand up to the heat or leave my hair feeling oily. This works. It lasts all day and into the second day. And my hair does not feel oily or dirty. It is not inexpensive but it really does add shine and cut the frizz to nearly nothing. I use it as a night mask for my hair under a wrap. The only thing I do not like about it is the packaging. The jar is heavy and unnecessarily bulky. It makes this impossible to pack without putting it into another container and it does not seem very environmentally friendly to package it this way.

horrible horrible horrible

this mask is the most ineffective product that I've ever tried. It provided absolutely no moisture, made my hair so tangled and as I was rinsing it out so much of my hair fell out. I am so so disappointed and I cannot believe I spent so much money on it.

This is wonderful!

I know this is expensive, but it is really worth it. My hair usually looks frizzy, dry, and dull, but this makes it smooth, shiny, and healthy looking!

AMAZING! Worth Every Penny!

I debated the purchase of this mask due to the cost. I wash and blow dry my long hair daily, with the occasional use of a hot curling iron. I took the plunge and purchased. This mask works just as it promises it will. It is worth every penny. As the previous reviewer shared, the product is almost gluey, it is very scented, and once applied to the hair it got stiff, I put it up in a bun and slept through the night, went to work out, and then washed it out, hair felt silky and shiny.

Absolutely worth it

I really, really didn't want to like this product. I used a gift card toward the purchase of this conditioner/mask and told myself it was okay to spend so much money on something like this. To the dismay of my wallet, this treatment was overwhelmingly nourishing, and after using it one time, I noticed drastic results. Like the previous reviewer said, the key is to use this on DRY hair. It isn't an oily, slimy application, rather, it goes on kind of gluey and makes your hair stiff and coated. Like, you won't be able to comb your hair easily once it is applied. What I like to do is massage it into my mid-length and ends, braid it, work out, and then wash it out in the shower. The price is a gut-check, but I will absolutely repurchase. I have not been able to find comparable success with any other hair treatment.
