LOVE
5This works, but you have to be consistent with it. The main thing I don't like about it is because it's a small handheld it takes FOREVER to thoroughly do your entire face. However, I have definitely seen improvements (almost overnight) and I would recommend this product.

IT WORKS
5To be honest, I am a satisfied customer who purchased this about 8 years ago and it works !!!! If i had taken pictures you can see the difference of undereye puffiness and wrinkles, several areas on my face with wrinkles and within only a few days i can see a difference!!! This should work for everyone to some degree. I am using it every day for 5 minutes in each spot but calls for 3 times a week. I see my smile lines diminish ! Lines and bags under my eyes in less than a week looks so much better.... This really works....

Lightstim vs DennisGross
5Alright so I originally bought the lightstim because it was cheaper than the Dennis gross light mask by almost 200 dollars. As a test, I wanted to make sure I actually used it which I did. However, I hated that it took so long to use. It’s almost 3 minutes per spot and you I move it around nearly 6 different spots on my face and neck. So then I bought the dr Dennis gross mask. At first I loved it because it was quick and much easier but I noticed the strength of the light was not nearly as powerful as the light stin and I didn’t see as noticeable results. I went back to using light stim and immediately felt the results were more noticeable and clear vs using the Dennis gross red light mask. I think light stim is the standard because when I got to my dermatologist, they have lightstim machines. What I do now is I have two light stim machines and I use both at once so reduce the time it takes.

My Birthday Present for Myself
4I've had red light treatments recently as a part of whole body cryotherapy treatments ("Freeze and Squeeze" sessions) and liked the short-term results I saw on my skin. So I bought this home-use version and have been using it every night for a month now. I can definitely see improvements in my skin, and am getting compliments about looking "glowy". It is very warm and soothing and I've fallen asleep while using it on several occasions. I've started using it on various body areas and can see results there as well.

LightStim machine
5I love it! It is great for my skin. It is very gentle on my skin and it doesn't irritate. Plus I can see improvement already! I also use retinol and the products that come with it.

Just got mine
5I've just started using My LightStim so I'll have to wait to see results. The only thing that bothers me is the eye goggles they sent do not match the ones pictured and they are not usable. They are just two cheap plastic eye cups and a string, nothing is attached, not even the eye cups to each other and there is no way to attach the eye cup to the string. So I have had to order eye goggles to use with lasers off Amazon as a substitution. Disappointing, I hope the laser makes up for it.

5I purchased for my mom and she loved it. She says that the wrinkles on her skin has mostly disappeared.

Consistency is Key
4I do see results with this. However, only buy it if you're going to be super consistent with using it. That's the only way you will see results. I do it at least a few times a week. I just do it while I'm watching tv or listening to a podcast and it goes by super quick.

Too time consuming to use
5I'm sold on the benefits of this product and I think it seems very high quality. But it's just too time consuming to do your entire face and neck 5 days a week. It sounds ok when they say only 3 minutes, but then you have to do that in several areas so it's 20-25 minutes a session every day. It's also not the most comfortable tool to use. The light is so bright and large that I was nervous it was too close to my eyes (there's a warning about the light over your eyelids) so I would hold the little goggles over the side closest to the light, which made it a bit cumbersome. If you wear goggles the whole time then you can't watch TV or do anything else to pass the time. Plus, the first night I used it I got a terrible burn on my earlobe. I didn't even realize the light was on my ear, I was holding it over my cheek but I guess got too close to my ear. The rest of my skin reacted just fine, but my earlobe is scorched. All of this to say... I returned this item and will use the money towards the Dr Gross LED face mask. With a full mask you only do one 3 minute session to get your whole face, AND there's no concern about placement, burns or eye exposure. So in my opinion, it's worth the extra money.
