First time for using both products, and so far, not disappointed. I have dark brown hair (almost black) so dry shampoo is typically a challenge. And although this product does spray out like a white powder, I have found that it is fairly easy to blend in with a head massaging brush. As for the dry volume and texture spray, I like it as well, I am not a huge fan of using stiff hair spray, so this product gives the volume and hold without being "crunchy".
