Smooth comb. I notice less hair coming out. I first use mason's rake comb then use this to make sure my hair is tangle free. I have baby fine curly hair that I blow out.

Loved it...until it broke!
I bought the Mason Pearson detangling comb at the end of August 2010 and have never regretted spending over $25 on a comb. That was until this morning, when somehow my fine, smooth hair managed to break the comb! Imagine my disappointment! I've never posted anything less than a glowing review, but I was sorely disappointed that the comb snapped after less than 6 months of use...
