I don’t know if this does anything
2I used the whole bottle as part of the full Olaplex regimen, but I didn’t notice any benefits. Overall, the Olaplex system felt high quality, but it didn’t make any drastic improvements to my hair. For the record, my hair is not that bad. I do have highlights, my hair is naturally on the drier side, and I deal with split ends and damage to some degree, but I don’t have catastrophic hair issues. Maybe this system is more for extreme damage? I don’t know. But I have found another product brand that is delivering the results I hoped Olaplex would. So, I would say skip this. Even in the Olaplex line, there are better investments.

Can't tell much difference with it or without it, sticky on the hair.
3I've used Olaplex 2 and 3 without 1 or this 0, and I really can't tell that it adds anything to the treatment. My hair looks and feels about the same with or without it, it's the Olaplex 2 or 3 that does the work and treatment. It comes in a spray bottle and it did come in a hair-dye applicator top style bottle. It does have some odor to it so I prefer to apply it to my hands then rub it in my hair vs spray due to this. It's quite sticky in the hair, so don't let this suprise you. You use it before Olaplex 2 or 3, not by itself. It's also not a leave in conditioner. I did try it that way and it's so sticky, it can't be used that way.

4I’ve used No. 0 twice, with No. 3 each time. My hair, which isn’t damaged just a bit unruly, was markedly smoother and softer. My only complaint is the spray bottle. I’d prefer a mist rather than a stream to allow for more even application and less loss of the product.

5I like number 3 on its own but this adds more strength to my hair.

Using entire line
5I’ve been using the entire line for a couple years now and my hair is at least 2 inches longer than before. So something is working!

Does the trick, but $
4This does help absorption of no 3, but for those on a budget this is the step I would cut first, and use water instead. Kind of surprised this priced the same as the other olaplex steps that seem more critical to results

Only used once, but eh
3I don't think this product added anything to the No. 3 product that it's supposed to accompany. I will try it again, but so far, I am not impressed.

issue with spray
4I love the way this makes my hair feel as a pre treatment before the shower. I spray my hair with this no.0 and then top it with no.3 before showering. My issue is the spray bottle is a straight jet stream so I feel like it doesn't coat my hair adequately. However, it does a decent job to protect the hair as long as you get enough product.

Makes my scalp tingle
4I mix this with the olaplex hair treatment (the one you use before shampoo) and spread this mixture over night. Then the next morning I use purple shampoo to keep my blond brassy color out. It definitely helps keep my hair from being too dry from The purple shampoo. BUT THIS WORKS ONLY WITH THAT OTHER OLAPLEX…. So I’m like ehhh by it self no… but with the other sister YESSSS
