Felt Drying
3I had high hopes for this clarifying shampoo but was underwhelmed. After washing my hair, it felt like hay. Once I conditioned my hair with a hair mask, my hair still felt a bit stiff. Will use up, but will not be repurchasing.

Lighter than the regular Olaplex shampoo.
5This is a finer, lighter shampoo than the regular Olaplex shampoo. If that is too heavy for your hair, this is a light shampoo by comparison. It gives a good cleanse and is gentle on the hair and scalp.It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin nor does it dry my hair or scalp out. The scent is mild and not overpowering, it's soft and pleasant. It does give a better cleanse than the standard Olaplex shampoo, but I like both. My favorite way to use this is to use this for the first wash, then standard Olaplex shampoo for the 2nd wash. I use it for both washes if I need more clarifying, only the first wash if I need less. It works well with any conditioner. But I do like to use Olaplex conditioner afterward. However, I do think Redken's Clarifying shampoo does give a deeper clarifying cleanse (the one in the grey tube or larger bottle). It is stronger and a bit harsher. I use it for the first wash when I use it and usually follow up with Redken Volume Injection shampoo (2nd wash) and conditioner. (This is what BlowoutProfessor on YouTube suggests, how to use a clarifying shampoo, first wash only unless you need a stronger cleanse. Highly recommend him and his work.)

Great shampoo
5I use many different products to achieve the look I want so it makes sense to periodically use a clarifying shampoo to remove inevitable buildup. I have tried a couple of other brands and have been pleased with them but when there was a special on Olaplex I thought why not? I am so pleased I did. My hair was manageable and shiny afterwards. No waiting extended times for it to work. I highly recommend this shampoo and it is sulfate free!!!

Great for clearing build up
5I’ve been using this shampoo once a week to clear build up from hair products but mainly for dry shampoo left overs and it has worked so well. I also don’t feel my hair feels terribly dry like this type of shampoos typically do. Overall I’ve been liking this option to clear my scalp/hair.

Scalp feeling squeaky clean
5I've been having build up in my hair and was looking for a clarifying shampoo. I saw this one had great reviews and after the first wash my hair felt lifted and clean.

5This product does what it claims it will do! It remove product build up well without leaving hair dry. My hair feels and looks healthly after use. I will buy it again!
