Retrinal 0.1 Intensive Cream
I originally started with the .05 and have graduated to the .1 strength. It does make me highly sensitive to the sun but we do not need the sun exposure at this age or at any age without protection. I get compliments on my skin and I attribute a lot of it to my Avene products. I struggled aver a year with skin problems. Tried many different products and Avene was the one that finally gave me relief. This is one of my daily products that I use at night. I think it has help make a difference in my aging skin. Great Product, Horrible Packaging
This stuff is great...except for the packaging. Bought this 2 months ago and have been using it on and off since, but not enough to use up1 oz in that time. Went to use it last night, pumped once got product, pumped again...nothing. Bottle isnt easy to open, so Im not sure what to do...which is disappointing, because I really liked this stuff. The product is really great otherwise. Goes on a little ornage, but you wake up with glowing smooth skin.

On 3rd bottle
I love the Avene Retinal. However this last bottle was not working. The top cap was not in there and would not press down to dispense the product. I can't get the cream out and it's very frustrating. At 70.00 a bottle, I would think the packaging would be better. Now I need to press down with a narrow pen to get product out. UGH...

Great Product and Great Results
I was introduced to this product on my first visit to a dermatologist. I wanted a product to fade some freckles and a dark spot that has come with age. Easy to apply and doesn't make my skin break out. I read a few reviews about not being able to use the entire product but I break the applicator tip off when it won't pump any longer and use a q tip to retrieve every last bit.

One year in and still pleased
I have been using this for about a year now as the retinol portion of my routine. I must say there is a noticable difference not only in my skin texture but wrinkles on my forehead. They seem to have almost vanished. I sometimes have sensitive skin and I have never had any reaction to this. I layer this with Skinmedica dermal repair cream and my skin feels really hydrated. I will be sticking with this product.

Why would they manufacture this with Red33?!?!
It amazes me that so many manufacturers use ingredients that cause allergic reactions. Red 33 can be used in very small doses but it's still lead and I know many who have had serious reactions to even the smallest doses especially when used over time. In the USA it is used in products from kids bubble bath to adult facial products. This would be a good product if they left the Red 33 out of it. No product needs this allergen to work as it should. Sad but another sample going straight in the garbage.
