Left my hair brittle after repeated use
At first I loved it. My hair felt really soft and my curls were bouncy. The more I used it the thinner and more brittle my hair felt. Maybe it's just not meant to be used as a main conditioner but just once in a while.

Strong contender
Although I have moved onto another conditioner, this one holds a special place in my heart. That's because this conditioner does exactly what a conditioner should - it provides some slip and moisture to hair so that it is more manageable and less frizzy. This is very easy to use, and is gentle but effective on hair. High praise to Lorraine Massey of DevaCurl for seeing a market that was sorely lacking, and addressing the needs for women (and men!) who have curly/wavy hair. She is a visionary!

Desert island product
I can't say how much I love this conditioner because it borders on ridiculous. I have used as a cleanser, leave-in and in a pinch a styler. It is light enough to use every day and completely changed the health of my hair. Works great with other Devacurl products or on its one.

Not my favorite
I really wanted to love DevaCurl. I have wavy/curly hair that tends towards frizz. The smell kinda threw me off; a little like cleaning products.

Although this conditioner is nice, I think I expected more. I'm interested to try the "decadence" line since it's geared more towards thicker/curlier hair. The smell kind of reminds me of hotel shampoo.
