DHC’s bestselling, cult-classic Deep Cleansing Oil is truly one of a kind. The original Japanese first step oil cleanser melts away makeup and dissolves impurities, leaving your skin clean, soft and radiant.
The 100% organic olive-oil based formulation works on the scientific premise that “like attracts like.” Applied with dry hands on your dry face, this rich, naturally golden-hued olive oil-based cleanser binds with dirt and effortlessly breaks down sunscreen, sebum and stubborn makeup, like waterproof mascara and eyeliner, without clogging your pores. The water-soluble formula rinses away with zero oily residue. Its silky feel and delicate, natural rosemary aroma make washing your face feel like a luxurious spa experience.
This botanical formulation features antioxidant-rich organic olive oil and vitamin E to hydrate, soften and protect, and rosemary leaf oil to invigorate and refresh. Also works great as a makeup brush cleaner.
Ideal for all skin types.
Remove the stopper attached to the pump. Dispense into dry hands, then massage onto dry face to dissolve makeup, dirt and other impurities. Rinse thoroughly.
Deep Cleansing Oil is the first step in your daily double cleanse routine. Double cleansing is a centuries-old Japanese ritual for achieving a clean, fresh, and incredibly soft complexion. Use without water
I use this product at night to remove my makeup. 1-2 pumps on dry hands applied to dry face. I apply to entire face then I gently rub my eyes to focus on my lashes. I use a wonder cloth / erase your face cloth to remove the oil from my face Works so well! Skin feels soft. No oily blur in the eyes.

Nothing special
This was just ok for me. I use it as a first step in a double cleanse, because it doesn't take off all my mascara. It also smells just like olive oil, which isn't bad, but just a bit unusual for a cosmetic item. I received this a part of a gift set, and I won't be buying more after I run out.

Effective and non-irritating
This is a good cleansing oil for a first step cleanse. It is non-irritating to the skin and eyes, and contains no added fragrance, which is lovely. Its fairly easy to rinse off, but sometimes I notice that if Im wearing a lot of eye shadow/eye makeup it does need to be rubbed pretty aggressively to be removed completely. However, Im giving her 5 stars because I rarely wear makeup and dont really know what Im talking about.

Favorite cleansing oil
I've tried other Japanese brands such as shu uemura but DHC is still high quality. It does not leave a film. Very gentle on the skin. Takes make up off well.

Deep cleansing oil
This oil cleanser removes the make up and tinted sunscreen completely. When I message my face with the cleanser I can see all the make up melts away and wash away with warm water. Love the that it's thick and not watery.

Good cleanser bad smell
Stinks like pure olive oil, but it really does its job of taking off makeup and sunscreen.
