I think this moisturizes my face and it doesn't break me out, but I don't like the finish. Feels a bit tacky/sticky. I find that texture is common for gel moisturizers.

Solved my MASKNE Problem!
My sensitive skinned face has been a mess since I began wearing face masks. Both disposable and cloth masks turned my face beet red and flared up my rosacea. Big time rosacea my RX cream didn't help. I'd read that niacinimide in an oil free moisturizer helped with mask breakouts. I use Elta MD UV Clear tinted sunblock, so I bought this product. Every morning and evening I wash my face with cool water and apply this product. It has cleared my skin up and moisturizes my aging, sensitive skin.

Nice Basic AM Moisturizer
I bought this along with the PM Moisturizer. Like the PM one, it has a great consistency and is a nice base in the morning for sunscreen/cc cream etc. It did the job of moisturizing but otherwise, I was not surprised or wowed by any visible differences in my skin. That said I would still recommend it if you're looking for something basic.

Great for day or night!
So this is such an elegant formula. It's a no frills, easily absorbed, and effective moisturizer. If you're looking for something very riché, try the PM. This is suitable for day and night tbh, but the PM might be required every now and then if you're in an extreme cold and dry climate. I'm in SoCal and this works perfect year round for me. Don't let the title "AM" make you think it can't be a day and night, I more so regard this as it's the lightweight moisturizer. This one has a touch of willow bark to help micro-exfoliate as well. Perfect base layer before the UV Clear as well. This is my favorite emollient for face!
