Excellent product for range of skin types
This moisturizer is lightweight, elegant, and suitable for a range of skin types. Unlike many other lightweight moisturizers, it also delivers adequate hydration to slightly dry or normal skin, preventing flaking and tightness even if one is on retinoid therapy. Despite the many strengths of this moisturizer, it is not measurably superior to a very similar, yet FAR less expensive product, CeraVE Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM.

My perfect day cream
EltaMD am and pm were recommended to be by my Curology provider. I have been struggling with skin issues since early menopause hit me. In three years, not one of the 20+moisturizers(drug store to high end) helped moisturize my skin while using acne medication. My skin broke out worse as the topical acne meds were drying me out and over producing oil in the day causing my skin to look like I dunked my face in cooking oil. The AM cream is lighter in moisture than the PM but it is perfect for me. I have not had one oil slick day since using this product. My make up wears so well that I even have cut back on touch ups during the day. I know that not every product works perfectly for everyone but I can recommend this to anyone who is suffering from my similar situation: sensitive, combination, acne. I also recommend using the PM cream with AM especially if using a topical acne treatment at night. I do believe both combined has helped balance my skin. I can't say much for skin color but my skin tone has improved. It was about 2-4 weeks before I really noticed that difference. As for value of product, I average about 4 months per bottle.

It does not break me out
I use it in winter times so it does not feel greasy at all. I have acne prone but not oily skin. This moisturizer keeps my skin hydrated while not breaks me out, which is a huge plus!

After finding the perfect sunscreen for my sensitive/combination skin (EltaMD clear), I thought I'd try this lotion. It's a light texture and makes my skin look dewey. I use it in the morning on occasion, but mostly at night. I'm not sure if I'll need more moisture in the winter, but so far this product is awesome. No breakouts, which mostly all new products cause. Plus I'm happy that it's cheaper than my previous skincare line. Once I run out of my current products, I'm going to try the EltaMD facial wash and eye gel.
